APT-30.0 Spray dryer - a compact, production-scale equipment with an increased evaporation capacity developed specifically for small productions or scale-up activities.

The APT-30.0 Spray dryer is equipped with a precise humidity monitoring system embedded in the software. All parameters are controlled and monitored via the touchscreen HMI located next to the spray tower. This feature enables end users to record drying performance in real time and seamlessly develop DoE models.

Features:

  • Air heater: Effectively raises the temperature of the drying medium, preparing it for its role in evaporating the solvent from the atomized feed in the spray dryer.
  • Drying tower: Entirely made of AISI316L stainless steel, the drying tower is where the liquid feed is mixed with heated air or nitrogen and atomized, while solvents are evaporated.
  • Cyclone separator: Ensures that the dried product is efficiently separated and collected, minimizing product loss and ensuring cleaner exhaust air.
  • Nozzle atomizer: Designed to convert the liquid feed into fine droplets for efficient drying.
  • Product inlet: A mix-blend, solution, or suspension in liquid form is fed into the system. An inlet container (not included in the scope of supply) ensures constant suction of raw material and its transfer into the heating tower.
  • Dust collector: Located between the cyclone separator and the HEPA filtration system (if present). It recovers ultrafine particles not captured by the cyclone separator. The pressure inside is continuously monitored by the PLC.
  • Customizable inlet: Upon request, the inlet can be customized to adapt to different source containers
