Position overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Field Sales & Project Engineer to join our team in the West region, with a primary focus on the states of Delhi & NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K and Leh.

The ideal candidate will bring:
• A strong technical background to understand and address customer needs effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships with clients

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
• Driving sales growth by representing all our equipment brands in the field and identifying new opportunities
• Executing projects effectively, from initiation to completion, while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and company goals


Key responsibilities:

Sales development:
• Identify and actively pursue new sales opportunities and projects in the assigned region
• Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry events to expand the network and generate leads
• Perform product demonstrations to educate customers and support sales efforts

Customer advisory and quoting:
• Advise customers on technical solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations to support customer’s decision-making process

Project execution:
• Execute projects after receipt of order in close collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Customer relationship management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure high a level of satisfaction and loyalty

Technical support:
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to customers during whole lifecycle of the equipment

Market analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, evolving customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Report findings and actionable insights to the management team to inform for strategic decisions

Sales strategy:
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement targeted strategies and tactics to achieve and exceed sales targets

Reporting:
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to meet objectives

Marketing support:
• Support the marketing efforts by providing content ideas, feedback on campaigns, and evaluations of results

Training and development:
• Participate in domestic and international product training sessions to stay updated with the industry advancements and its trends to enhance customer interactions and supplier relations


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or field sales engineering, preferably in laboratory equipment/ scientific products or process equipment
• Strong understanding of chemical/process environments and related regulations as well as product applications
• Strong technical understanding, fast learning skills, curious and open minded
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region
