FlowPlateTM is a premium toolkit for continuous production of fine chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with a high heat transfer capacity and high-pressure resistance (up to 100 bar).
The modular, flexible design enables the creation of innovative production lines that can be easily expanded, modified, and adjusted to specific customer and process requirements. All process plates are made of Hastelloy which leads to a robust design. The quick and easy scale-up allows for on-demand production under cGMP conditions. Thanks to the process channel, which is free from dead volume with a closed and seal-free single-channel design, the Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) process is easy to apply.
Depending on the nature of the process, different mixing structures offer a unique concept for individual process intensification.
The FlowPlate® series includes the FlowPlate® Lab for laboratory and pilot plants and the FlowPlate® A6 resp. A5 for production plants.

The FlowPlate® Lab is the smallest in the range and is ideally suited for feasibility studies in the laboratory, for process development and preclinical research. The exchangeable, microstructured process plate has up to ten in- and outlets along the reaction section which ensures high flexibility for a wide range of processes. A viewing window made of durable sapphire glass allows the operator to visually monitor the flow process in the entire channel.

With the help of the FlowPlate® A6 and A5, process development and research are just as feasible as pilot-scale production under cGMP conditions or the market launch of a product. The channel design is similar to that of the laboratory version: The process plates are equipped with channel structures for mixing and residence volumes, which are easily interchangeable.
