This is our high pressure and high temperature HPHT reactor novoclave. This high pressure reactor system is designed for processes involving high pressures and temperatures.
Safety features guarantee safe reactions under highest pressure. The system is designed, manufactured, and tested according to PED and AD2000. It features electrical heating with built-in automated tap water cooling. This setup ensures fast and precise temperature control. A programmable PID controller allows easy operation at the device or via PC.
The modular setup of the novoclave system allows for changing the vessel size from 100 ml up to 600 ml. You can use the same cover plate and electric heating block. Vessels are available in the following volumes: 100, 200, 300, 450, and 600 ml.
Despite changing vessel sizes, the system maintains the optimal vessel geometry regarding the relation between diameter and length.
The stainless steel or Hastelloy® reactors ensure high corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the magnetic stirrer drive ensures efficient mixing and stirring of the process media. It also provides excellent heat transfer.
“The 100ml novoclave works great for my bench top scale. I love the idea that I can scale up to 600 ml at any time without having to purchase an entire new reactor. We use the novoclave for benchtop depolymerization reactions.
Basically, we fractionate biomass into its monomeric components to serve as platform chemicals for other high value biomaterials or bioproducts. This employs water together with other solvents, acid or a base.
The reactor vessel is well built to serve its purpose. It does not take up space at all which is great for a benchtop lab setting."
